Need-based Scholarships

The Parkinson's Policy Forum has contracted a reduced rate at the JW Marriott. Rooms for single or double occupancy are $289.00 plus taxes and fees per night.

The Forum agenda will be available shortly, but programming will begin early the morning of Monday, September 9. Participants will be on Capitol Hill on Tuesday, September 10 with no programming planned for the end of day. The Parkinson’s Policy Forum organizers will schedule your Capitol Hill meetings and will work with your travel schedule.

The Parkinson's Policy Forum contracts with a travel agent to assist in making travel arrangements for Forum participants. If you accept a scholarship for travel to and from the Forum, then you will need to work with the travel agent and the parameters she has been provided.

ADA Accommodations

Accepted applicants who require assistance with their medical needs may bring a care partner to the Forum. Care partners are encouraged to advocate alongside their loved one. They do not need to fill out a separate application; simply indicate their name on your own application.

If you have additional family members or friends who are interested in the attending the Forum, they must apply separately.

*Please note, The Michael J. Fox Foundation and Parkinson’s Foundation cannot provide medical care or assistance to Forum attendees, including but not limited to providing personal care and/or assistance with activities of daily living or mobility (e.g. pushing wheelchairs, etc.).
